Kingdom Players to U.S. Womens National Team Training Centers

Here is a description of what the goal is for the U.S. Womens National Team Training Centers from the U.S. Women’s Head Development Coach, April Kater:

"Greetings from U.S. Soccer!  My name is April Kater and I am the Women’s Head Development Coach.  I am writing to you with important information regarding a new U.S. Soccer Training Center in Michigan.

Starting in July 2014, the top female players from your clubs born in ’00, ’01, ’02 and ’03 who have the talent and potential to become US National Team players in the future will be invited into the first TC.  Those players will attend free monthly 1 hour 30 minute sessions focused on developing the technical and tactical areas necessary to be successful in the National Team program.  The top players from the Training Centers could be invited to participate in US Youth National Team events.  The less competitive players can be cycled out of a TC at any time, but can be recommended again at a later date.”

This is a great opportunity for female soccer players here in southwest Michigan that play for the Kalamazoo Kingdom Soccer Club.

More details coming soon...
